Overview
The Circle Survives is operated by Oleg Kuksa. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app and this website, how that information is used, and how to contact us.
Information Processed by the Current App Build
The current build of The Circle Survives stores gameplay progress and audio settings locally on your device. This can include run progress, upgrade progress, best scores, challenge progress, unlock state, and audio preferences. The app may also process a player identifier, nickname, leaderboard scores, basic app environment information, device language, advertising events, analytics events, crash data, and performance data needed to run and improve the app.
How Information Is Used
This information is used to keep the game functioning, load your saved progress, apply your settings, operate leaderboards, provide optional rewarded ads, understand app performance, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and support normal gameplay behavior.
Cloud Save
The Circle Survives uses local storage and Apple iCloud key-value storage for supported iOS installs. Some builds may also use a cloud save service to back up gameplay progress and settings so progress can be restored across supported installs or devices. Save data may therefore be transmitted to and stored by Apple or by the cloud save service used for The Circle Survives.
Leaderboards and Nicknames
The app may use a generated player identifier to submit and retrieve leaderboard entries. Leaderboard data can include your player identifier, optional nickname, survival time, level, gold, run identifier, build version, game mode, and submission time. If you choose or are assigned a nickname, that nickname and related score information may be visible to other players on public leaderboards.
Analytics, Advertising, and Accounts
The current build does not include a separate user account system. The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand product interaction, app usage, advertising events, and app performance. The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform to provide optional rewarded ads and collect any consent required for ads. Ads are configured as non-personalized ads and are not used by us for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Third-Party Services
The app may process information through Apple services, Firebase Analytics, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, and The Circle Survives leaderboard or cloud save services. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices when their services are used.
Data Sharing
Personal information is not sold. Data is shared only when needed to operate the app, leaderboards, cloud save, analytics, optional rewarded ads, consent flows, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or direct support requests you send by email.
Data Retention
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you remove the app data, delete the app, or replace the stored data by continuing to play. Leaderboard and cloud save records are kept only as long as needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve support requests, or meet legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information associated with support communications, cloud save, analytics, ads, or leaderboards. You can contact us to submit a request, including a request to delete or anonymize leaderboard data associated with your player identifier where reasonably possible.
